Media support of the III National Championship of Cross-Industry Working Professions in High-Tech Industries (WorldSkills Hi-Tech)

WorldSkills Hi-Tech championship is a business and competitive event incorporating WorldSkills technological part. For the third time the event was supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Strategic Initiative Agency and Sverdlovsk oblast government. General partners of the championship were Rostech and Rosatom state corporations.

Media support agency invited leading federal and regional media partners.

WorldSkills Hi-Tech championship business program included over 20 media events such as several press briefings and media scrums with Deputy PM Olga Golodets, Deputy Minister of labour and social security Lyubov Eltsova, Deputy Minister of industry and commerce Vasily Osmakov. Preparation and initiation of various articles and appropriate media support were provided by the leading experts and social activists..

The event was covered by more than 50 publications, more than 100 journalists and bloggers worked during the event. Within only first three days of the championship the media published over 500 messages. Most of them were of the federal level. In addition, the competitions were broadcasted at the leading regional TV channel. Total audience exceeded 14 million people.

About the сhampionship

WorldSkills Hi-Tech is an annual professional WorldSkills championship of leading industrial enterprises, the biggest hi-tech competition in Russia. The event is aimed at enhancing skills and level of competency of young workers up to 28 years old. One of its objectives is to raise the prestige of working professions.

The annual championship was first held in 2013.
